I have been honored to attend few of the presentations that Friends of Uffizi held at our Northern Trust office in the past. The member’s passion and eagerness to restore some of the art pieces inspired me to make Florence one of my travel destinations with my daughters this month. All three of us were amazed seeing all the masterpieces in person. Knowing there is so much history behind each piece made this experience even more special. The Botticelli room made particularly big impression on us. There is so much to see and not enough time in one trip. Thank you so much for introducing me to this beautiful world of art.
