Crime in the Art World

Crime in the Art World will reference several well- known and lesser known art crimes that have occurred in recent decades. Museum heists, fakes in Museum collections, thieves breaking in to galleries and crimes committed by dealers. Tracking and recovery of stolen works are also aspects that will be discussed, including those of World War II and more recently objects pillaged from war torn structures in Iraq that are then monetized to fund terrorism.
