Pieter Paul Rubens

Rubens was a very famous painter and a great entrepreneur. He painted religious and historical subjects as well as portraits. The Uffizi owns two self‐portraits and this one already hangs in the first of the 14 planned new rooms, but it needs a restoration to enhance its exquisite delicacy.
